These pancakes are sometimes called Dutch Baby Pancakes, or German Pancakes and are similar to a large Yorkshire Pudding. This recipe allows for you to bake the pancake in one large skillet and serve it "family style" which works great for a lazy family weekend breakfast.

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter

2 large eggs

1/2 cup (60 grams) all purpose flour (preferably organic)

1/2 cup milk (can use whole milk, 2% or even lactose free)

pinch of salt

fresh fruit, maple syrup or stevia powder for decoration
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 C). Melt butter in an 9 inch pie plate for a few minutes, in oven and brush the sides of the pie plate with the melted butter. Be careful not to burn the butter.
Beat eggs slightly in a medium bowl with a hand whisk. Beat in remaining ingredients (not fruit or sugar for decoration). Do not over beat. Pour into pie plate.
